Happy99 is a New York City fashion and streetwear brand founded by multidisciplinary artists Nathalie Nguyen and Dominic Lopez. What started in 2018 as a pair of 3D-rendered shoes - initially mistaken for real samples by stylists for Lady Gaga and Grimes - grew into one of the most authentic, community-driven brands in independent fashion. Built entirely on word of mouth, anime, video games, music, and a network of "weirdos" from every subculture, Happy 99 has a physical store in Manhattan and a global cult following.
